Craig S. Allen

Craig S. Allen, 33, of Akron, passed away on June 5, 2013. He was born on November 17, 1979 to Steve and Barbara (Shawbell) Allen in Akron, OH. Craig loved playing his guitar and especially enjoyed listening to the "Melvins". He liked fishing and adored his dog, Sugar.

Craig is survived by his loving Parents, Sister, Lisa (Joe) McCormick, Brother, Derek Johnson, Nephew, Nick, Grandmother, Pat Shawbell, many other Aunts, Uncles, Relatives and Friends. He was preceded in death by his Grandfather, William Shawbell.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 10, 2013, 10:00 - 11:00 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Monday, June 10, 2013, immediately following the visitation, at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 26 Broadway, 14th Floor, New York, NY 10004.
