Curtis B. Hall, 97, of Akron, passed away on February 10, 2021. He was born in Morgan County, Alabama on December 23, 1923 to the late William and Dixie Hall. Curtis proudly served in the U.S. Army and retired from Union Oil. In his free time, he enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with his beloved family.
In addition to his parents, Curtis was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Hall; daughter, Bea Paro; grandson, James Turner; and siblings, Barbara, Estell, Ruthie, Elna, Dolly, Holis, Emitt, and Aaron.
He will be dearly missed by his children, Lucinda Lovejoy, Mary (Dave) Masten, Nola Stewart, Pamela Kilbourn, Richard Stewart, and Cheryl Stewart; six grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and granddogs, Buddy and Fiona. He also leaves many dear friends, including Julie Barlow.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 from 10-11 followed by an 11 a.m. funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
