Curtis Philip Lybarger

Curtis Philip "Boog" Lybarger, 32, passed away December 26, 2022 at home with his family by his side. Born in Canton, Ohio to Scott and Nancy (Carson) Lybarger, he resided in Akron/Ravenna his entire adult life. Boog enjoyed gaming, football, trees, fishing, grilling, his dogs and spending time with his children and family.

Boog will be sadly missed by his wife, Katelyn; children, Aaliyah, Carter; parents, Scotty P. Lybarger, Nancy Dunn; brothers, Bryan Hoover, Greg (Jessica) Hoover; grandmother, Sandra Lybarger; in-laws, Billy (Mary) Van Horn; sister-in-law, Krysta "Steve" Van Horn; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to visit Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. A celebration of Boog's life will follow at 12 noon at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Boog's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
