Cynthia Ann "Cindy" Ballway, 63, of Tallmadge, passed away on July 23, 2024. She was born on August 30, 1960 to Charles "Chuck" Davis and the late Arlene "Babe" {Labay} Davis.
In addition to her mother, Cindy was preceded in death by her brother-in-law Greg Ballway.
Cindy Ballway was a mighty prayer warrior and a faithful servant of the Lord. Her beautiful prayers and powerful answers from God led many to believe she had a direct line to Jesus. Her love for her family was second only to her love for God. She was a loving and giving mother and Grammie, always putting her family first. She was passionate about being the best Grammie to all of her many grandchildren. Her door and heart were always open to those in need. Cindy was known for her cookies, cakes and cupcakes. Her baked goods became a part of many family traditions across Ohio. While she ministered to many hearts, she also understood the importance of gathering and celebrating people for big and small occasions to bring love and joy to their lives. Her love for children was evidenced by her many years of volunteering at the Akron Children’s Hospital Hematology and Oncology department. The beautiful and unique Christmas trees she designed for their annual fundraiser were legendary. It is requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Akron Children’s Hospital Hematology and Oncology department.
Cindy is survived by her beloved husband Jeff; children Chris (Missy) Ballway and Amanda Ballway; many grandchildren; father Chuck Davis; sisters Cheryl (Jerry) Still and Paula Scaglione; sisters-in-law Theresa (Brian) Ravencraft and Sharon (Mark) Grenberg Miller; many nieces, nephews and their families.
