Cynthia E. Poe

Cynthia Ellen Poe, 66, passed away on July 18 after battling cancer. She was born on July 23, 1956 and grew up in St. Mary's Pennsylvania. She was very close to her mom and was also a daddy's girl. One of her favorite childhood memories was of her dad's fireworks every Fourth of July. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

In 1996, she met her soul mate- as she called him, "her Gene Poe". Their love for one another is truly amazing. Cyndi was an excellent RN and a hospice nurse for over 25 years. She showed such compassion to her patients and loved how close she got to know the families. The families grew to love her and adopted her in as their own. Cyndi's favorite time of year was summer. She loved being in her pool and sitting outside on her swing while gazing at her beautiful flowers and solar lights. Her favorite place to go was the beach- that was her happy place. Cyndi was known for her creativity, she loved to sew, cook, and craft. Her presents were always wrapped so elegantly, you hesitated to open them. Spending time with her family was the most important to her. She always said, "family is everything".

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Pauline Feldbauer.

Cyndi is survived by her husband Gene, her dog Isabella, her daughters Jennifer (Vincent), Stephanie (Patrick), her son Brian (Misty), and her six grandchildren- Jordan, Dylan, Brionna, Aidan, Sadie and Keagan.
