Cynthia Marie Robinson

Cynthia Marie Robinson, 50, passed away surrounded by her loving family on December 27, 2020. She is now at peace after a courageous 2 year battle with cancer. She was born in Akron on February 24, 1970 and graduated from Ellet High School in 1988. After earning her associate's degree in court reporting, Cindy began a career in health care at Summa Health System, and more recently worked at University Hospital as a Sr. System Analyst, Revenue Integrity. Cindy was an avid Cleveland Indians fan and enjoyed attending games. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her daughters. She was their biggest fan at their softball and volleyball games. Cindy was preceded in death by her father, Bud Robinson and infant brother, Bobby. She will be dearly missed by her daughters, Kylie and Courtney; sisters, Susan Robinson and Carrie (Ivan "Van") Johnson; mother, Sally Robinson; nieces and nephew, Alyssa Koeberle, Alaina Johnson, and Hunter Johnson. She also leaves many good friends, including best friend, Twila Moore. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2021 from 11-1 followed by a 1:00 p.m. funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 Canton Rd., Akron. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cindy's family.
