Daisy A. Carpenter
On November 2, 2008, Heaven rolled out the red carpet and the Lord escorted his precious child home. Daisy A. Carpenter was born July 29, 1933 in Birch River, West Virginia to the late Walter and Eva Cutlip. She was brought up in a family full of strength and faith and she carried their legacy on with her own family. She was dedicated to her family and church throughout her life, and was a member of the quartet, The Gospel Travelers, along with her husband Lacoe. The world has lost a little of its sparkle today. But I know when the gates swing open for me, her beautiful face will be the first thing I see. I love you Grandma! She was preceded in death by her husband, Lacoe; sisters, Myrtle Rose and Audra Cutlip; brother, Cam Cutlip; and grandson, James Powell. She is survived by her children, Rebecca (George) Powell, Libby Curry, and Randy Fazenbaker; brothers, Scott (Maggie) Cutlip and Stanley Cutlip; grandchildren, Mylissa (Jeff), Larry (Season), Ashley, Mike (Melissa), and Lisa; and great-grandchildren, Dylan, Lyllian, Allan, Bailee, Haley, Lacy, Chris, Timmy, and one on the way; and best friend of 52 years, Florence Pidcock. The family would like to thank the staff of Akron City's Palliative Care Unit for the care given to Daisy. Family and friends may call on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m., Pastor Jim Davis officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME (330) 784-3334
