Dale K. Dobbins

Dale K. Dobbins, 60, of Akron, passed away on May 13, 2017. He graduated from Ellet High School class of 1975 and The University of Akron in 1979 with a BA in Music Education. Dale was a music educator and a tutor for many years, and also was the music director at Goodyear Heights United Methodist Church. The last 17 years he spent working at the Ellet IGA.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rollin Dobbins. Dale is survived by son, Kevin (Amy) Dobbins; mother, Betty Dobbins; 3 brothers, Greg (Emmy), Keith, and Philip (Cheryl) Dobbins; and a host of other relatives and friends. Calling hours will be held on Saturday May 20, 2017 from 11-1pm at Lakemore United Methodist Church 1536 Flickinger Rd. Akron, OH 44312 with the funeral service immediately following.
