Dale S. McCown, 82, passed away on January 27, 2008. He was born on March 12, 1925 in Tanner, WV to the late Thomas and Laura McCown. Dale served with the US Navy and retired from Atlas Body. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on cars. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Lelah; brothers Paris, Orva, John, Willard; and sister Tacy. Survivors include son Jim "J.D."; sisters Valley, Audrea, and Veda; grandchildren Marla Sue, Julie, Jamie, Rob, Shanna, Candy, and Brandy; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous friends and relatives. cremation has taken place and services will be held at the convenience of the family.
