Dale Stephen Klettlinger, 53, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2011 after a 3 year battle with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma surrounded by his family at Akron City Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Mary Lou; children, Mark Stephen (Katy), Julie Anne and Michelle Lynn; precious grandson, Thane Andrew; parents, Louis and Evelyn Klettlinger; brother, Ron Klettlinger; mother-in-law, Roma Brow; sisters-in-law, Elaine (Brad) Sisak and Kathy (Jeff) Veverka; brothers-in-law, Rick (Carolyn) Brow and Ron (Christine) Brow; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Koenig, Palliative Care and the nurses at Summa 7th Floor for their special care of Dale. Also, special friends and family members who have been by Dale's side through out his battle. Calling hours will be held Friday, February 25, from 4 to 8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a service will be held Saturday, February 26, at 1 pm, with a visitation 1 hour prior. Pastor Jill Smith will officiate. Cremation to follow service.
