Dale T. Thome

Dale T. Thome, 86, passed away on August 15, 2010. He worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for 42 years. Dale was a charter member of the Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Wilma Thome. Dale is survived by daughters, Irene Brooks and Darlene Mathews; son, David (Carolyn) Thome; granddaughters, Lindsey and Lauren Thome. Special thanks to his extended family at Summit Villa where he resided for the past two years and received excellent care and compassion. Calling hours will be Wednesday, 5 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where a funeral service will be held Thursday at 12 p.m., with Pastor Matthew McDaniel officiating. Burial at Nashville, Ohio Methodist Cemetery.
