Dallas E. Frock, age 79, of Springfield Twp., Ohio, died on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at his home.
He was born in Akron on May 24, 1938, the son of the late Edgar and Ethel (nee Raneer) Frock.
Dallas was a 1956 graduate of Springfield High School and a local truck driver. He was an antique car enthusiast and went to many car shows.
Survivors include his wife, the former Margie J. Milligan Allison, whom he married on October 8, 1988; his children, David Frock, and Denise (Neal) Woodworth; his step-children, Dale Allison, Kate Allison, and Allen Allison; his grandchildren, Joshua (Lisa) Frock, Rachel Woodworth, Brandon (Karen) Frock, and Leslie Woodworth; his great-grandchildren, Theodore, Wesley, and Everett Frock. His two siblings also survive, Robert (Maxine) Frock and Marie (Larry) Hendershot.
Other than his parents, Dallas was preceded in death by his brothers, Clifford and Kenneth Frock, his sister, Evelyn Simich, and an infant sister, Ann Frock.
Family and friends may visit from 12:30 - 1:30 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron.
Funeral services will be held immediately following the visitation on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 1:30 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Asera Care Hospice, 2820 West Market Street, Akron, Ohio 44333, in Dallas' memory.
Dallas will be buried at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Akron.
