Damon James Moore

Damon J. Moore, 49, of Akron, passed away unexpectedly at his home on January 17, 2025. He was born on July 23, 1975 to Bonnie {Borth} Moore and the late Edward J. Moore. 

Damon is survived by his loving wife Debbie; son Austin Taylor; step-children Alisa Hooker and Tyler Novak; mother Bonnie Moore; step-sister Lillian Kelly; close friend Randy Edwards; many extended family members and friends. 

Damon loved to work on cars, and had a career as a mechanic and roadside assistant. He enjoyed playing video games fishing and soccer, and watching football while yelling at the TV! He was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes.
