Dana Belle McWhorter Wilson, 92, formerly of Jane Lew, WV passed away May 31, 2019 in Stow, OH. She was born August 14, 1926 to the late Mansfield and Maple (Wilkes) Melton. Dana Belle graduated from Jane Lew High School and later married Warren McWhorter. While raising her two children she also worked at the local glass company in Jane Lew. Dana Belle enjoyed gardening, shopping and spending time with her family.
Preceded in death by husbands, Warren McWhorter and Larry Wilson; son, Warren Larry McWhorter; brothers, M.M. Melton, Jr. and William Melton. She will be deeply missed by daughter, Vickie McWhorter; daughter in-law, Dolly McWhorter; grandchildren, Tina McIntyre, Michael McWhorter, Amy (Chris) McIntyre and Jill McWhorter; great grandchildren, Logan (Katelyn) Powers, Cody Stewart, Makayla White and Kaitlin White; great great grandchildren, Damian Powers and Grace Powers.
Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. She will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Jane Lew, WV at a later date.
