Daniel Flasco Harrison
Daniel Flasco Harrison, 30, passed away March 13, 2010. His family is devastated by this loss, and he will be greatly missed. He was a graduate of the University of Akron with a Masters Degree in Applied Politics, and was a proud member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity where he served 2 years as the Fraternity President. Daniel loved his work in the Political Division of InfoCision in Uniontown. Daniel is survived by his mother, Barbara Jean Harrison; father, Bruce Harrison; sister, Christina (fiance Brian Burt) Harrison; step-brother, Douglas Harrison; aunts, Sue (Vijay) Gaddam, Diane (Anthony) Capretta, and Debbie Bosley; uncle, Charles Levesque; grandfather, William Huhn; godmother, Lynn Gauer; biological father, Thomas Flasco; cousins, Adrianne Pike, Melissa (Brian) Gilbert, Maureen Pike, Michael Coe, Kevin Pike, Angela Snyder, Zoey Bosley, and Tyler Bosley; best friend, Eric Towsley; mentors, Dr. Green, and Jim Warner; pledge class, Stash Ptak, David Miller, Anthony Maltempi, and Pledge Master Jamie Gross; special fraternity brothers, Zach, Chris, and Wally (with his potato gun); and many others he loved as brothers, they may be relieved to know Dan never told who stole the golf cart. A memorial gathering will be held Tuesday, March 16, from 4 to 8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Friends and family are encouraged to vote in honor of his memory and in accordance with his political views.
