Daniel Alan Hagenbaugh

Daniel A. Hagenbaugh, age 66 of Akron passed away on Monday, August 15, 2022 at his home. A lifelong resident of Akron, Dan was born to the late Paul and Shirley {Miller} Hagenbaugh.

Dan is survived by his daughter Sandra LaValley; brothers Jack (Mary) Hagenbaugh, David (Cris) Hagenbaugh and Mark Hagenbaugh; sister Linda (Dan) Schuler; grandchildren Dionna Gilbert, Gabriel Gilbert and Julius Scott; several nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Dan was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. He loved to fish, golf, and play pool. Dan was a huge supporter of the Cleveland Browns, Guardians and Cavs.

All are invited to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305 on Wednesday, August 24 from 5:00 p.m. until the funeral service begins at 7:00 p.m. Well-deserved military honors will also take place. Following services, Dan will be cremated.
