Daniel P. Heavner

March 4, 1960 — December 24, 2023

Daniel P. Heavner, 63, passed away on December 24, 2023. He was born on March 4, 1960 the son of the late Ronald and Donna Heavner. Daniel graduated from Ellet High School with the class of 1978. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. Daniel was employed up until his passing with dedicated service for many years with Energy Professionals. He was an avid sports fan. Enjoyed following the Browns, Buckeyes, and Indians. He also enjoyed golfing with friends and family. Daniel enjoyed music and playing guitar.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Daniel is survived by his daughter Danielle (Clay) Freeze; his loving brothers, Dave (Betty) Heavner, Dean (Debra) Heavner, Darren (Tami) Heavner and Dale Heavner; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A special thanks to his long time best friend, Mark Hoover, for all your support and care that was given during this difficult time.

A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held FEBRUARY 15th from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron 44305)
A committal service with military honors will be held on February 16, 2024 at 1:15 pm at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery
