Daniel Edwin Knopsnider Jr.

Daniel E. Knopsnider Jr., age 44 passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, May 10, 2022. He was born in Warren County, PA on June 7, 1977 to the late Daniel E. Sr. and Mary {Mineard} Knopsnider.

Dan will be dearly missed by his wife Jody; children David (Abbey Keffer), Tyler and Emma; sisters Tammy (Johnny) and Jessica; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

Dan worked for Babcock & Wilcox for over 18 years. "Just a country boy," Dan had a love for the outdoors, 4-wheeling, playing cornhole, and always stoking the fire with a beer in his hand. He had an unbelievable wealth of knowledge, and was a jack of all trades. Dan's favorite past time was passing down that knowledge to his kids, especially when it came to cars. He had a huge heart, and would drop everything to help someone in need. His goofy and fun personality will be fondly remembered, and dearly missed.

Family and friends are invited to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, 44305 on Wednesday, May 18 from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m., with a funeral service beginning at 6:00 p.m. Dan was a simple man, and he would like those in attendance to wear their "whitest white T," or brightest neon shirt.
