Daniel Mark Williams, 55, of Akron, passed away suddenly on May 15, 2012. He was born on July 5, 1956 to the late David and Lorree Williams.
Dan retired from the Akron Fire Department after 31 years, serving as Lieutenant for 15 years. Dan's father, David, was Chief of Police for the City of Tallmadge. He was a beloved father, brother and a well respected fire fighter willing to do anything for anyone.
Dan is survived by his children, Danny, Leilani (Adam) LeMonier , Stacey and Dylan; grandchildren, Alivia, Adrianna and Kale LeMonier, Lauren Williams; brother, David; sister, Amy Masters.
Family and friends may call on Saturday, May 19 from 4-7 and Sunday, May 20 from 4-7 with a "Last Alarm" Ceremony being performed at 7 PM at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where private funeral services will be held with Rev. Bob Denton officiating.
