Daniel P. Davis
Daniel P. Davis, 52, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2008. Daniel was a 1974 graduate of Springfield High School. He enjoyed riding his Harley, fishing, visiting with his grandson, and tinkering in the garage. Preceded in death by his mother Margaret A. Davis and his nephew Charles "Butch" Henline. Survivors include his father Paul R. Davis; son Alex M. Davis; daughter Jessica (Josh) Davis; grandson Solar Davis; sisters Margaret Henline, Sally (Kenneth) Tifft, and Nancy (Michael) Mertz; brother James (Cindy) Davis; loving companion Tawnya Cleaver and her son Adam Cleaver; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. Calling hours will be Sunday, 2-4 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. with a memorial service at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
