Daniel P. Packard

Daniel P. Packard, 23, of Green, went home to be with the Lord suddenly on Wednesday, March 13, 2002. Daniel will always be remembered as a sweet, innocent soul and a "gentle giant". He was a 1998 graduate of Portage Lakes Career Center and was currently employed at the 619 Citgo. Daniel was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Robert Packard and Jay Hammond; sister, Kathryn Arnold; and brother, James Arnold. He is the beloved son of his parents, Kevin (Melissa) Packard and Sherry (James) Arnold. He will also be greatly missed by sisters, Brandy (David) Caplinger, April (Adrian Brown) Packard, Deborah Arnold, Judith (Ben) Oberlin, Virginia (Gregory) Jones, and Robin (Mitch) Jones; brother, James Hendrix; grandparents, Delores Packard, Linda and David Alberts, and William Self; aunts and uncles, Gary Packard, Kendra (Michael) Welsh, Donald Hammond, Tammie (David) Cooper, Connie (Jeff) Hubbard, Robert Self, Nanci (Stephen Collins) Self, Rebecca (Budd) Sinnett, Jerry (Mary) Arnold, Jerome (Debra) Arnold, and John Arnold; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Friends and family may call on Monday, March 18th from 5-9 p.m. at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. with visitation for one hour prior. Pastor Brenda Young officiating.
