Daniel T. King
Daniel T. King, 59, went to be with our Lord on May 20, 2009. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and served two tours in Vietnam. Daniel was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Akron, Ohio. He is survived by his daughter, Heather Lynn King; son, Daniel T. King, Jr.; grandson, Jarod; loving mother, Helen King; sisters, Lynn Freadling and Patti Ruth King; and many nieces and nephews. Dan is now reunited in Heaven with his father, Melvin O. King, and brother, Larry Stephen King. Calling hours will be Tuesday, May 26, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where services will follow immediately at 11 a.m. with Rev. Douglas Shoup officiating. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
