Daniel R. "Beak" Weakland, Sr., of Akron, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, August 25, 2019. He was born on November 1, 1955 to parents Charles and Elizabeth Weakland. Dan enjoyed hunting, fishing and had a great love of dogs.
Dan was brother to many friends and touched everyone he came into contact with. He made a big impression with his love of life and his carefree attitude. Dan always had a helping hand for all of whom he held dear.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Linda Weakland, and his sister-in-law, Sarah West. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved son, Daniel R. Weakland, Jr., brother Charles (Debra) Weakland, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. A private family memorial gathering will be held to celebrate his life.
