Danny B. Chance, 33, of Springfield Township, was taken home by his Lord after a long illness on June 18, 2010. He was born December 2, 1976 in Houston, Texas. Danny enjoyed life and always had an infectious smile. He loved his daughters who were his inspiration in life. Danny was a loving father, brother, son, uncle, great-uncle and friend. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lorna Mae Lowe Chance; and brother, Billie C. Chance, Jr. He is survived by his father and step-mother, Billie & Janet Chance; daughters, Lorna Mae Chance and Laurilynn Marie Chance; sisters, Debra (Bruce) Price, Tammy (James) Caldwell, Angela (Rob) Smith and Diana (Dan) Owen; brothers, Robert, Billie J. (Connie), Randy and John (Cindy); numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the service begins. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis TN 38105.
