Danny Coleman
Danny Coleman, 60, passed away March 11, 2011. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Danny was a faithful member of the Southeast Church of Christ. Next to his service to God was his devotion to his family. His granddaughters brought him special joy. Danny was an honest and fun-loving person who always thought of others more than himself. He had many interests, including: fishing, computers, and endlessly watching CNBC. He also made a mean pot of chili. Danny was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Coleman; step-father, Clarence Dunahoe; and brothers-in-law, Pete Williams, Terry Greer, and Ron Davis. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Kathy; children, Jared (Tina) Coleman, and Jaime (Brandon) Baeza; granddaughters, Emma and Cami Baeza, and Rory Coleman; mother, Nellie Dunahoe; sisters, Geraldine Williams, Irene Greer, and Christine (Vic) Bartoletta; and many other loving family members. Calling hours will be held Monday, March 14, from 4 to 8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a service will be held Tuesday, March 15, at 12:30 pm with a visitation 1 hour prior. Mr. Lewis Willis and Mr. Vernon Teagarden will be officiating. Burial to follow at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
