Danny E. Frazier

Danny E. "Yogi" Frazier, 66, passed away November 1, 2021. Born in Akron, Ohio on September 24, 1955 to James and Lorraine (Watson) Frazier, he was a lifelong area resident. He loved his family and friends as well as watching the Browns and Buckeyes. In the 1970's he rode a Harley up until 1980 and he always loved his Harley Davidson bikes. He was a U.S. Marine, serving in the Vietnam War. He was a proud disabled Veteran, He will forever be remembered and missed dearly.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Dale Frazier, Derrick "Corey" Frazier; grandson, Phoenix Winkleman. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Kimberly Jo; children, Danny Frazier, Jacqui Winkleman, Stephen (Sarah) Frazier; stepdaughters, Nicole Whelan, Angel Kellar, Shelby Kellar; 13 grandchildren; sister, Debbie (Bobby) Pruett; special friend, Michael Shear; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Family and friends are invited to visit Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The funeral service will immediately follow at 12 noon at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Danny's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
