Danny Lambert, 77, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2024. Born January 2, 1947, to Gus and Mary (nee Bickers) Lambert in Batesville, Arkansas. He graduated from Springfield High School in 1967. He fixed time clocks for Simplex, which became Tyco/Grinnell, and he became a fire alarm inspector. He retired after 43 years!

He is survived by his "sweetie" Bonnie (nee Wolfe). They were married for 56 years! He was Dad to his daughter, Tammy (Kevin) and his son, John (Rhian). His favorite title was Papa, given to him by his grandkids, Tia (Tom), Justin and Ashley. He was big brother to Brian (LouAnn). Brother-in-law to Donna Lambert, Catherine Servey, Shelby Wolfe and Wilma Wolfe. His nieces and nephews are too many to name but he loved them all!

Preceded in death by his parents, his middle brother, Patrick, and several of Bonnie's siblings.

Danny loved sports and collecting ball cards. Sunday drives to areas he had been to for work were always fun and always ended in a great place to eat! Many hours were spent playing cards - MANY HOURS! He may have lost the battle to cancer, a stroke and his sight, but he was ornery to the end!

We love you always and will miss you forever!

Special thanks to the Wellspring Hospice team and the entire staff at Autumnwood Rehab Center (Embassy). You all took amazing care of our loved one. You showed great respect and gave him dignity. We are beyond grateful.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, April 5, 2024 from 4pm until the time of the Memorial Service at 6pm. Pastor Chuck Hopkins will officiate.
