Danny A. Legg, Jr. 39, of Akron, passed away suddenly on July 31, 2018. Danny graduated from Springfield High School in 1997, joined the Army at age 18, and most recently he was employed as a mechanic for Sean Hunt at Monro Tire. Danny's sense of humor and practical joking will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He had a kind heart and would do anything he could to help others. He was an extremely talented artist and craftsman, a true "jack of all trades." Danny was an avid animal lover and he especially adored his cats "Copy" and "Paste." People were drawn to Danny and just enjoyed being in his presence; he was a great friend to many, and the strong bond and love he had for his mom will continue on always.
Danny was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lawrence and June Miller, and Jim and Irene Legg; his favorite aunt and uncle Robin and Rick Carpenter; uncles, Dale Legg and Vince Legg; and step-mom, Alma Legg.
He is survived by his loving mom, Brenda (Richard) Claar of Arizona; dad, Danny Legg; sisters, Tracy (Mike) Scott and Crystal (Brian) Henline; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins who adored him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 2-7 pm at 5670 State Street N.E., Louisville, Ohio 44641 with a dinner to be provided (help with side dishes is welcomed). In lieu of flowers, to help offset expenses, please consider a donation either directly to the family or to the gofundme account located on Danny's or Brenda's facebook page.
