Darlene Mae Calaway

Darlene Mae Calaway, 74, passed away on May 8, 2023. She was born on March 20, 1949 to the late Margaret (Corbin) and Glenn Schultz Sr.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Harold Calaway.
She will be missed by her brother, Glenn Schultz II; nephew, Glenn Schultz III; niece, Elizabeth Robinson; and other extended family and friends.
Darlene graduated from Wadsworth High School in 1967. She went on to receive a degree in accounting from Kent State University. She had a long career working for Jobs and Family Services as an accountant, which she retired from.
She was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Cuyahoga Falls.
Darlene loved crafting, crocheting and being a seamstress. She also had a huge heart for any and all animals.
She will be missed by so many friends and family.
She will be laid to rest along side her husband at Greenlawn Cemetery, 2580 Romig Rd, Akron, OH 44320.
