Darlene Jones

Leona Darlene Jones, 65, of Uniontown, passed away on February 7, 2018. She was born in Akron on March 21, 1952. Darlene's hobbies included gambling, drag racing, and enjoying the sunshine. Darlene was preceded in death by her father, Harry Hixenbaugh; mother, Leona Hixenbaugh; and sister, Ida Doolittle. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 42 years, Michael Jones Sr.; sons, Michael Jones Jr. (Cindy) and Sean (Abby) Jones; sisters, Joyce (Dale) Sprankle, Diane Bubnick, and Cindy (Danny) Tabet; brother, Phillip (Wendy) Hixenbaugh; sister-in-law, Penny Glover; brother-in-law, Kevin Jones; grandson, Michael Fisher; many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Family and friends may visit on Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 1-4 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
