Darrell R. Arbogast, "Dee", age 77 of Akron, Ohio, died on May 7, 2022 at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
She was born on January 13, 1945 in Akron, the daughter of the late John and Beatrice (nee Brown) Murray Jr.
Dee enjoyed cooking, baking and making candy for the holidays. She loved the outdoors, especially gardening and spending time with her dog, Emily. Dee retired from Rocky Knoll Nursing Home as an assisted living aide.
Survivors include her children, Wendy (Matthew Jacobs) Nickolich and John Arbogast; her grandson, Joseph "Joe" (Ashley) Nickolich; and her great-grandsons, Travis and Bryson.
Her brother also survives, Larry (Marybeth Whitmyer) Murray.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 13, 2022 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio, where Rev. Karin Wright will celebrate Dee's life.
Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday, May 12, 2022 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.
Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Akron, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family to help defray funeral costs.
