David Carl McCrory, 67, of Akron, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2014. He was born June 10, 1946 in Barberton, Ohio to the late Carl and Reva McCrory. David graduated from Green High School. He was a kind man who lovingly raised his son from an early age by himself.
David is survived by his son, Melvin (Erica) McCrory, granddaughters Kayla and Alexis, brother Carl (Terry) McCrory, nieces Catherine and Isabella, nephews Carl and Caleb and fiance Kathy Crehore. Visitation will be held 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305.
