David J. Casteel

David J. Casteel, 68, passed away unexpectedly November 3, 2021. Born in Jasper, Tennessee to Ernest and Mary Casteel, he was lifelong resident of Cuyahoga Falls. He worked as a restaurant manager at several places, including McDonald's and Country Kitchen. David enjoyed listening to the Indians, watching the Browns and also wrestling, going fishing, collecting model cars and spending time with his family. What David loved the most was sitting in the WalMart parking lot waiting for us to finish shopping...ha ha.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth G. Casteel; stepfather, Paul Mitles. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 48 years, Pam; children, Diane Casteel, Ruth (Dan) Brooks, Mike (Robyn) Casteel, , Keith Casteel, Tracy (Tim) Wilson, Samantha Casteel; grandchildren, Eric, Jacob, Mikey, Macy, Lily "Mouse", Holly, Emily; great granddaughter, Avalon; nieces, nephews and friends.

Family and friends are invited to visit Monday, November 8, 2021 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. Those who wish may make memorial donations in David's name to the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department.
