David Michael Donovan

David Michael Donovan, 58, of Brimfield, passed away suddenly on March 13, 2024. He was born in Akron, Ohio on November 2, 1965 and graduated from Field High School. He spent over 20 years employed with Diebold and most recently worked for Ten-Point.
Dave loved working on cars and fishing. He enjoyed sports and was proud to coach youth baseball and football while his kids were growing up. He was devoted to his family and especially loved being PaPa to his grandchildren.
Dave will be dearly missed by his loving wife with whom he spent the last thirty years, Antoinette Ward; sons, Tim (Becca) Ward and Austin (Brittany) Donovan; daughter, Ashlie Donovan; parents, Richard "Mike" and Janice Donovan; sister, Terri (Karl) Ward; grandchildren, Layne, Helena, Nevyn, Gabby, and Mattie Ruth; nephews, Quintin (Savannah) Ward and Travis Donovan. He also leaves his honorary grandchildren, June and Henry Sanders. Dave loved animals and will be deeply missed by his faithful dog, Royale.
Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 4-6 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. A brief time of sharing will begin at 6:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Portage Animal Protective League, 8122 Infirmary Rd, Ravenna, Ohio 44266.
