David E. Haught

David E. Haught, 77, went home to be with the Lord on August 29, 2012. David was a Journeyman-Wireman for I.B.E.W. Local Union #306 for 42 years. He served with the US Navy during the Korean Conflict and was a life member of Army-Navy Union, USA, Garrison #273 and American Legion Post #566. David enjoyed fishing, golfing, and socializing with friends.

Preceded in death by many family members and friends. Survivors include his beloved wife, Donna, of 27 years; sons, Jeffrey (Janice) and Christopher; stepsons, Ryan (Tammy), David, Todd and Eric Stoakes; grandchildren, Ryan Stoakes, II, Haley and Jesse Fry, and Samantha Stoakes; and his best friend forever, Tom Lawless.

Calling hours will be Sunday, 2-6 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
