David F. Wilkins
David F. Wilkins, 52, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2008, with his family by his side. A gentle giant, loving and kind, Dave had a wonderful sense of humor and will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. A long-time resident of Green, Ohio, Dave was a 20-year employee of The Goodyear Tire and Rubber company, and the family wishes to thank his co-workers for their encouragement, love and support. He was the greatest fan of his son Ben and daughter Julianne, cheering them on in all of their endeavors. In addition to his children, he leaves his loving wife, Lori, his caring mother Beverly Wilkins, big brother Barry Wilkins and many precious nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Dave was preceded in death by his father, Roy F. Wilkins. Friends may call on Thursday, 4-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. where a memorial service will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. Memorials may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
