David Faupel

David E. Faupel "Geno", 68, While we are mourning the loss of our husband, father, grandfather and friend on August 19, 2018, others are rejoicing to meet him behind the veil. He worked at The Hoover Co for 37 years and attended Spiritual Temple of Praise in Barberton. David was an avid softball player for 45 years. He played with various traveling teams all over the US.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Mary Rose. David is survived by Rebekah, his wife and Sweetheart of 45 years; children, Scott and Cheryl Faupel; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends on Monday August 27, 2018 from 10-12pm with the funeral service immediately following at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N.Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305.
