David Terrence Flaker

David T. Flaker, age 65 of Wadsworth passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 12, 2022. He was born in Akron on February 11, 1957 to Don and Glenda {Hamric} Flaker Sr., who survive him.
Also surviving is his longtime companion Denee Schorle; siblings Don (Liz) Flaker Jr., Glenda (Buck) Buchanan, Anthony Flaker Sr., Beki (Rick) Angerstein, Ben (Linda) Flaker, Kate (Chris) Weaver; many nieces, nephews and friends; fur babies Cissy and Frankie.
Dave was a huge NASCAR fan, and enjoyed his enormous CD collection. He also loved watching true crime shows, and cruising on his Harley. Dave had a good heart, great interpersonal skills, and a desire to help his friends and family with anything they needed.
Per Dave's wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be a memorial service held on Thursday, June 2 at 2:00 p.m. at Goss Memorial Church, 2247 11th St SW, Akron, OH 44314.
