David Alan Gay

David A. Gay, 56, passed away May 2, 2019 as a result of a motorcycle accident. Born in Akron to Charles P. and Olive B. (Thorne) Gay, he was a lifelong area resident. He greatly enjoyed his motorcycles and his brotherhood with the OMENS, recently earning the name "FREEDOM FLYER". David was blessed late in life with a son who he loved and found much joy with. His family is grateful that he knew Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Gay. David will be deeply missed by daughters, Hannah Gay, Gabrielle (David) King; son, Zayden; grandchildren, Lilly, Darrik, Jayla, Charlotte, Cassandra, Emily, Benjamin, Nicholas, Eleanor; brother, Rodney; sister, Julie; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who loved him.

A Celebration of David's Life will take place Friday, May 10th, 2019 at 4:30 p.m. at Johnson United Methodist Church, 3409 Johnson Rd, Norton, Ohio, with Pastor Tal Lewis officiating. Those who wish may make memorial donations in David's name to his family.
