David Hentosz

David Hentosz, age 82, passed away on January 18, 2025. He was born in Akron on September 22, 1942, to the late Mike and Katherine Hentosz. He graduated from Hower High School and went on to work at Firestone Rubber and Tire Company. After his retirement, Dave's love for golf brought him to work at the Firestone Public 9 Golf Course. He also enjoyed the excitement of gambling and could often be found at Northfield MGM Casino. He was an avid sports fan of the Cleveland Indians and Browns. 

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 30 years Nancy (Kellett) Hentosz; children Jon, Daniel, and Vincent (Tammie) Hentosz; step-children Shelly Pixler, Edward (Denise) Kellett, and Katie Kellett; 19 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren with the 11th on the way in May 2025; and his uncle John (Janet) Hentosz; and a host of nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by his brother Bob and twin brother Dan; son-in-law Stan Pixler; and daughter-in-law Denise Hentosz.

Cremation has taken place per his wishes and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
