David Samuel Kinsey
David Samuel Kinsey "Dave," died on September 14, 2006 at 93 years of age. Survived by his wife, Olga (Bucky) of 61 years; son, John (Barbara); daughter, Crystal (Paul) Roberts; grandchildren, Sean, Jason (Tammy), Jeremy (Wendy) and Josh; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Madison and Ryan. Dave was never old; he just lived a long time. Always a teaser and jokester, he brought laughter and joy to the many people who shared time with him. When asked how he lived so long his reply would be: "Stay away from Wild Women and drink Kesslers." He owned and operated Dave Kinsey Excavating until well into his 70's and even did a little into his 80's. Dave was a lifetime member of Operating Engineers Local 18. He enjoyed traveling - Alaska, Arizona, Cuba, England, Florida, Hawaii, Mexico, Scotland and Wales, he also enjoyed lying on the beach in Florida, playing cards or games and haggling "South of the Border" where he was known as "Bulldozer Man." Dave lived his life with the adage - "Work Hard, Play Hard, Pay as You Go, Always Take Care of Your Responsibilities and Fulfill your Promises." At Dave's request, there will not be a showing or memorial service; he wanted people to remember him the way they knew him. The family would like to add your favorite memories of Dave to his 90th Birthday Book so please forward any that you may have to www.NewcomerFamily.com or to 2106 Lee Dr., Akron OH 44306. In lieu of flowers, a donation would be appreciated to Hospice of Summa, 444 N. Main St., PO Box 2090 Akron OH 44398-6153 or the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Ste.1700, Chicago IL 60601-7633 Attn: Acknowledgements. The family will be receiving family and friends at Dave & Olga's home on Sunday, September 17 between 1 & 5.
