David Coy Laughlin, Sr.

David C. Laughlin, Sr., 72, of Peninsula, passed away on March 14, 2024 at Wayside Farm Nursing and Rehab. He was born on June 30, 1951 in Akron, OH. He was a 1969 graduate of Akron Garfield High School.

Preceded in death by his parents, Mary and George Menear.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, David (Kerry) Laughlin, Jr., Kim (Chris) Dallas and Justin Laughlin; sisters, Vicki (Jerry) Byrd and Cindy (Jim) Thornton; the love of his life, Rebecca Laughlin; 5 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

David loved the Lord and his family. He was a skilled machinist and a Browns fan.

Family and friends are invited to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44305) on Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 4:00pm until the time of the Memorial Service at 6:00pm.
