David Lee Ober, Jr., 38, passed away unexpectedly on September 2, 2012. David was born in Akron on August 23, 1974. A gifted musician, David loved playing the guitar. He was very artistic and expressed that through his tattoos. David loved traveling and was able to see the country through his job as a truck driver. He was devoted to his family and friends and will always be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and sarcasm. He was preceded in death by his mother, Delilah Jett. He will be deeply missed by his father, David Lee Ober, Sr. and stepmother, Sandra; siblings, Craig Buffa, Cari (Kevin) Ayers, Frank Miljak, Don R. Jett, Jessica Ober, and Matthew Ober; stepfather, Don A. Jett; children, David Lee Ober III and Tailer Kae Renee Ober; nieces and nephews, Monica and Frank Buffa, Nathan and Delilah Grace Ayers, Skyler and Logan Miljak; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Family and friends may call on Thursday September 6 from 4-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
