David E Loue

December 20, 1935 — March 31, 2022

David E. Loue, formerly from Akron, passed peacefully the morning of March 31, 2022 at Tallmadge Health and Rehab. He was 86 years old. David was born in Akron, OH on December 20, 1935. He was the fifth child of Eva G. and William E. Loue Sr. He moved with his wife, Ruth, to North Benton, OH in 1995. He was a member of Lexington United Methodist Church in Alliance. David served in the Reserve of the United States Marine Corps from 1954 to 1959. He retired from Republic Chemical Corp. in 1986 due to a stroke which left him disabled. He enjoyed camping and spending time with family and friends. He especially enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He always looked forward to planning and planting a garden every year. He also loved to tinker around in his garage with his cat, Lucky, by his side. He was very
grateful for all the neighbors and friends who were always there to look out for him and lend a hand.
David was preceded in death by his parents, William E. Sr. and Eva G, his wife of 43 years, Ruth, second wife, Pearl, brothers William E. Jr., Carl E., Richard A., sister, Donna Hendricks.
David is survived by daughters, Rebecca (Russ) Bell, Beverly (Jeff) Alspach, son, David A. (Janet), 10 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

A Graveside Memorial will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Scott Hayward officiating.
