David M. Nellis, 57, of Akron, passed away December 29, 2010 at Akron City Hospital. He was born October 5, 1953 in Akron, Ohio to the late Gerald F. & Esther E. (Dannemiller) Nellis. David served his country as a U.S. Marine. He is survived by his brothers, Thomas (Linda) and Gary (Kelly) Nellis; nieces, Michelle Wohlwend, Theresa Moffett, Shannon Nellis-Williams and Heather Nellis. A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, January 9, 2011 from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. at the Mogadore Moose, 4095 Mogadore Rd., Mogadore OH 44260 concluding with a service at 3:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 525 North Broad St., Canfield OH 44406.
