David E. Mayfield, 59, of Stow, passed peacefully on September 26, 2017.
He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and working as a mechanic throughout his life.
David was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary and John Lott.
David will be deeply missed by his mother, Janet (Larry) Ritterbeck; many brothers and sisters; daughters, Kelsey and Cayleigh; granddaughters, Audrey and Vada; special friends, and his beloved canine companion, Charlie.
Memorial donations may be made in David's honor to the Summit County Humane Society at www.summithumane.org.
A celebration of David's life will be held on October 12, 2017 from 4-8pm at the Arlington Church of the Nazarene fellowship hall 1057 Triplett Blvd., Akron, 44306.
