David N. Smith, 58, of Springfield Township, passed away October 10, 2007 at his residence. He was born February 18, 1949 in Akron, Ohio and later served in the U.S. Army. David is survived by his mother, Vivian Gage; father, William P. Smith (Merol); sister, Cynda (John) Parsons; brothers, Matt and Rick Smith. A memorial service will be conducted at the Kentucky Ave. Church of God, 1316 Kentucky Ave., Akron OH 44319 on Monday, October 15 beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Matt Stull officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kentucky Ave. Church of God.
