David William Ritter

David William Ritter, 81, of Doylestown, passed away at home, surrounded by his family on February 1, 2024. He was born in Buckhannon, WV on November 1, 1942 to the late Minter F. and Mimmie N. {Canfield} Ritter.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his daughter Tonya Farro, granddaughter Nadia, brother Kenneth Ritter and sister Emma Thomas.

On November 22, 1963 he married Linda {Cole} Ritter, and they celebrated 60 wonderful years together this past fall. She survives, along with their children David (Sharon), Kevin and Daniel Ritter; grandchildren Jenna, Makayla, Kenny, Kevin, Jayden and Brittany; brother Chester "Bud" (Faye) Ritter.

David was the head of quality control for the Ford Motor Co. He obtained his pilot license in the early '90s, and flew aircraft at SkyPark in Wayne County. David and Linda were longtime members of United Church of God in Canton.
