David Louis Rosen

David Louis Rosen, age 79 of Akron passed away peacefully at Akron City Hospital on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. He was born in Newburgh, NY of August 5, 1942 to the late Irving and Alberta {Marsh} Rosen.
David will be dearly missed by his wife of 45 years, Donna; children Mark (Mimi) Rosen, Allison (Brent) Mitchell, David (Laura) Gibson and Ramona Rogers; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers Robert Rosen and James Rosen; nieces, nephews and friends.
David was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He enjoyed showing and riding horses, and made great friends through his adventures.
Family and friends are invited to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305 on Friday, April 29, from 10:00 a.m. until the service begins at 12:00 p.m., with Pastor Frank Zugaro officiating. Well-deserved military honors will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery following the service.
