David Lee Smith, "Dave", age 64 of Akron, Ohio, died at his home on April 23, 2021.
He was born on August 30, 1956 in Peru, Indiana, the son of the late William and Mary Magdalene (nee Foster) Smith.
Dave was a concrete Mason and worked for Union #109, where he was a finisher for 30 plus years. He enjoyed ping pong and having bon fires. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his children, Tiffany (Jeremy Bitting) Smith, David Michael Smith and Stephanie R. Smith; his grandchildren, Braden, Jayden, Traden, Aubrei, Tracy III, David Michael Jr and Karson Smith.
Other than his parents, Dave was preceded in death by his siblings, Jim Smith, Bonnie Williams and Tommy Smith.
Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio.
Following the visitation Mr. Smith will be cremated.
